Before You Order
How to Measure Your Foot Size
Stand on paper
Place a blank A4 sheet on a hard floor. Stand on it with your full body weight.
Trace your foot
Trace around your foot with a pencil, keeping it vertical (not angled).
Measure length
Measure the longest point from heel to the tip of your longest toe in centimetres.
Match to size chart
Find your CM measurement in the table below. When between sizes, size up.

Size Conversion by Brand
Each brand publishes its own official size chart, and the EU↔UK↔US conversions differ from one brand to the next — there is no single universal table. Always size from the chart of the brand you are buying. Safety Jogger is labelled in EU; Oscar, Black Hammer and Hammer Kings are labelled in UK.

Women's Sizing
Women's Size Conversion
We stock women's safety footwear as well: Safety Jogger ladies models (Bestlady, Bestgirl, EU 36–42) and Hammer Kings ladies models (HK12001, HK12002, HK12003, UK 5–8). Women's shoes are cut on a women's last with its own conversion, so size from the women's chart of the brand you are buying — not the men's chart.

Fit Recommendations
Special Sizing Situations
Wide Feet
Size up 0.5 EUIndustrial safety shoes typically run narrow. If your foot is wider than average, ordering half a size larger provides more width comfort. Some brands (Safety Jogger, Black Hammer) offer wide-fit variants — ask us.
Steel / Composite Toe
Snug fit is normalThe toe cap takes up space inside the shoe. A snug feeling at the toe is normal and expected. Your toes should not touch the cap — allow 10–15mm of space.
Thick Work Socks
Size up 0.5 to 1 EUIf you wear thick thermal or moisture-wicking work socks, account for this when ordering. Measure your foot while wearing your intended work socks.
Measure at End of Day
Feet swell during the dayMeasure your foot in the afternoon or evening when your feet are at their largest. Shoes fitted to morning measurements may feel tight by end of shift.
Heavy-Duty Insoles
May need to size upIf your workers use orthotic or custom insoles, remove the standard insole first or size up to accommodate the additional volume.
